The Wolf-Born Land

Months have passed since you left your old home among the human settlements in favor of the Wolf-Born land. You left during spring season, when the weather was warm and suitable for trekking. But now, the cold chill of winter has already claimed the land, making prey even scarcer.

Dragging your feet behind you, you push yourself on. The whispers of the Wolf-Born land push you onward, over tall mountains and snowy passes.
But then, the massive carvings of wolves on the mountainside draw your attention. They depict the Wolf-Born kind. Your kind.

Through a combination of luck and hardiness, you've survived the trek from your old home to this new land. The soft, pure white snow crackles beneath your paws, and you take a good look around you, using the height of the mountains to your advantage. Through some trick of magic, this land indeed carries little to no marks of mankind's destructive behaviour. Blindingly white snowy fields and forests green as emeralds stretch as far as your eyes can see.
Your stomach rumbles, reminding you of your duty. Your recent travels have left you weak and hungry, and you better find food and shelter. Maybe another Wolf-Born can offer you food and safety.
But before you can decide on your course of actions, you feel another presence around you. A low rumble sounds, and when you spin around, hackles raised in alarm, you spot a black she-wolf perched upon a cliff. Either you weren't aware of her presence, or she suddenly appeared out of nowhere - it matters not to you, not now.
The black wolf is Wolf-Born, like you. But unlike any other Wolf-Born, her eyes hold an unnatural colour, like freshly-spilled blood. But even though the colour of her irises is a bit unsettling, she doesn't seem dangerous. But she's studying you, as if she's deciding what to do with you. Will she attack you? Maybe you could take her on in a fight..

What will you do now?
